And Yet, I Write.

This month has been beyond exhausting. I'm only into the second month of school, and here I am yearning for any glimpse of June.

This academic year started out on a different note, unlike previous years.

. I was not coming off of a two-month summer break filled with writing workshops and Summer travels.

No. I returned after hosting summer school to several weary students, sitting through preparation meetings for the upcoming academic year, and getting acclimated to newly issued responsibilities to an already full plate.

And yet, I write.

Always finding time for these monthly musings.

The one constant in my life.

And of course as we wrap up this month, tomorrow begins NaNoWriMo.

A nationwide challenge to produce 50,000 words in 30 days.

When done you'll have the makings of a first draft of a novel!

I will set out again this year to meet the goal.

And as I write this, I'm wondering...

Where will I find the time?

Where will I get the energy?

Did I mention I'm exhausted?

AND YET, I WRITE!
