Restart #2

I'm back ...

Yes, I was here in February after taking a 6-month hiatus.

The irony of this is that I'm back once again after ANOTHER 6-month absence.

I never meant to be away so long.

I realize with this blog "thing" consistency is what pays off in establishing credibility as a blogger as well as garnering a committed fan base.

And while I hopelessly strive for both, I also understand that some things just can't be helped.

From March until September my world has been a series of ongoing challenges. Financial woes, career realizations, and relationship gut-punches...

All adding to my existing concert of grey hair.

What I've learned from each:

Financially:

My employer may mean well in their efforts to assist and support my quality of life.

However, they are NOT my source. The more I lean into them to meet my needs, the more frustrated I become.

Career:

I enjoy working as an educator- challenges and all. BUT, it is not my calling.

I recognize that it serves as a tool to equip me to walk into my destiny.

Relationships:

Some relationships are for a season. Some for life.

I've been blessed to discern the difference.

Sometimes we need that time away.

In the RESTART, we pick up where we left off.

And often, a bit wiser in the process.
